My daughter, husband and I stayed in an oceanview 2 bedroom apartment. Surprised at the food, drinks and services available at a smaller resort. The staff were always friendly and the food and drinks were a great low price. Quiet and a fabulous deck area to laze back and watch as villagers go by with a happy greeting for you always. Step out the front straight onto the beach or about 50m up the beach is the Beach Bar open for food and drinks from breakfast to night. Also the wharf to catch a lift or on low tide walk to Hideaway island with great snorkelling.

the location is great. beautiful sunsets and warm ocean to swim in. the staff were lovely and it was handy having the little cafe on the premise.

The staff were all super friendly and helpful, and the facilities were excellent – decking overlooking the ocean, a private stretch of beach, bikes, kayaks and SUPs! The pet iguanas are also awesome and a great fun little quirk.

Glad I chose this place. Great communication with Damien during the booking process (he also helped with bookings a trip to Tanna), + handy to be able to make payment in AUD into Aus bank account. Airport transfers in both directions were on time and friendly driver. Staff were lovely, Sabrina was very helpful organising tours and answering my questions. Breakfast options are good, loved the house-made banana bread. Has a bar and a pool and bikes you can use and is very close to a great beach bar that has entertainment. Can walk or get a quick boat ride across to Hideaway Island which is great, while there try Bruce’s curry. Easy access to buses and close to Mele Cascades which is worth a visit. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed, loads of movies on the tv too.…

After much research our family of four (Mum, Dad and boys 10 and 9) chose to stay at Vanuatu Beachfront Apartments for our first family trip to Vanuatu as wanted an alternative to “fly-and-flop”, cookie-cutter, big resort holidays. The location, on beautiful, sandy Mele Beach, was the perfect place to meet and mix with the nui-Vanuatu and expat locals alike. Staying at VBA allowed us to self cater when we chose, whilst offering the convenience of included continental breakfast each day. When we wanted a break from meal prep we were spoilt for choice with a great little on site bar and cafe, as well as The Beach Bar, a leisurely 2 minute stroll along the beach, which made a perfect, family-friendly local watering whole and alternative for meals at any time of day, with great entertainment 3 days a week (don’t miss the Friday night Fire Show). Barefoot dining at its best! Hideaway Island, just a quick boat ride, or walk at low tide, across the bay, offered another great dining alternative, along with its great snorkelling and diving. Close to Mele Cascades, Wet’n’Wild, Jungle Zip Line, and a cheap and easy local bus ride into Port Vila. Our hosts, Damien and Michelle, were amazing, both before and throughout our stay, lovely people and an endless source of local knowledge. The Mele locals that took such great care of us all there have to be some of the nicest people we’ve ever met, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Thank you Juliette, Sabrina, Ava, Rota, Jacky, Tita and Fredrick for making our stay unforgettable . We can’t recommend VBA highly enough. If you are looking accommodation on Éfaté with the lovely, happy, laid back, style that typifies the Vanuatu approach to life (smiles, greetings, kids, music, food and fun everywhere you go) do yourself a favour and stay here. Can’t wait to get back and wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else.

The staff were amazing, and went above and beyond for us. We loved the location and the place was fantastic.

Beach is right in front of hotel! Bbq packs were amazing along with the freshly baked bread. Cocktails on point ! Hideaway island is a 2 min walk to wharf super easy to access. Room was super spacious! We had the 2 bedroom apartment which opened out to the pool and beach. Beautiful sunsets from the deck. Overall very nice place to stay.

The Staff was great! Perfect location. We extended our stay cause we were more than happy! We loved staying at Beachfront apartments!

Stayed 4 nights in November on my own. Location is perfect, right on the beach in the bay. Room was terrific, clean, comfortable bed and shower was spot on. Continental breakfast was so good with their home made bread and banana bread. Cocktails were well done, kayaks incl. Close to the Fire Show at The Beach Bar, bicycles or buses easily avail, beautiful local people. The Staff are by far the best I’ve encountered at ANY hotel in my life, really stands out when your travelling alone, I was never alone and made new friends. The location and the staff just can’t be beat
